We’d love to see you at church this Sunday
Sundays 10:30 am
161–163 Wattletree Road, Malvern
Every week we meet to read and hear a talk from the Bible, pray, sing, and spend time together in community. Our church isn't an exclusive club or society for people who "have it all together." We’re a just group of ordinary, imperfect people who depend on God's grace offered to us in the gospel. Anyone can come to church. It doesn't matter if you're full of questions, brand new to Christianity, finding your way back to church, or if you've been a believer for as long as you can remember. Even if you've never been to church in your life, we'd love to see you at MPC this Sunday!
Bible Talks
Join us on a Sunday, and you'll hear engaging talks from the Bible. These talks not only get to the heart of what the Bible means but also show how it influences the way we think, feel, and live. Discover how the Bible gives us the answers to the questions that truly make a difference.
What about my kids?
MPC Kids
We think it's really important to team up with parents and caregivers to help our kids follow Jesus. Every Sunday during school terms we offer Kids Church, which is a fun, safe space where our 3–12 year-olds can learn about Jesus, make friends and have a great time.
If you're planning a visit to MPC and you'd like a quick orientation before the worship service, fill out the contact form below. A member of our Kids Church team will meet you at the door and make sure your kids are all signed in, set up and ready to go.
Rest assured, child safety is our top priority at MPC. All our volunteers have had police checks and Safe Church training. If you'd like to read more about our Safe Church policy, click here.
MPC Youth
We love watching our teenagers grow in their understanding and love for God, and we encourage them to join in worship with the rest of their church family in our Sunday service.
Every second Friday night during school terms we offer MPC Youth, a time for our 13–18 year olds to hang out, play games, study the Bible, and go deeper in their relationship with Jesus. If your teen is interested in coming along, just give us a heads up here.
Just like our kids program, we take child safety very seriously. All our volunteers at MPC Youth have had police checks and Safe Church training. If you'd like to read more about our Safe Church policy, click here.
Will there be coffee?
Don't stress! There'll be coffee. Every Sunday after the service, we all grab a coffee and stick around to get to know each other, look out for each other, and, above all, encourage each other in our walk with Jesus. Next to our worship service, this is one of the most important events on our church calendar!
Let us know you’re coming.
We’d love to know you’re coming so we can welcome you! We’d love to learn more about you, connect you to someone from our welcome team, and maybe even grab coffee!
What to expect
-
There's no dress code at MPC. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Dress like you would if you were heading out for a shop on Glenferrie Road. We want you to forget about what others think and just focus on hearing from God’s Word.
-
Parking is easy. For the closest park, try Pine Grove or Nicholls, Edsall, or Sudan streets. Just be careful not to park in a permit zone! There's also a car park not far away on Drysdale Street with plenty of parking available. If you plan to come via public transport, Malvern Station is only a 10-minute walk away, and the no. 5 tram stops right outside our building (stop 46).
-
When you arrive at MPC, there will be someone to greet you at the door and let you know that you're in the right place. Feel free to head inside and sit down wherever you like. There's no assigned seating.

Our meetings generally go for a bit over an hour, and after that we have coffee together in the church hall next door. We'd love for you to stick around, have a chat and get to know some of the friendly people that call MPC home.
-
During our meeting, one of the things we do is stand and sing together. We sing because we're so grateful for God's grace toward us. You don't have to sing if you don't want to. You're very welcome to just sit or stand and listen to the words.

We're a Presbyterian church. The word "Presbyterian" comes from the Greek word presbyteros, meaning "elder." All this means is that our church is governed by a board of elders. For more information about our beliefs and the kind of church we are, head here.

Yes, of course you can! People from all kinds of church backgrounds call MPC home. What we're most passionate about at MPC is the Bible's message about Jesus and helping you come to grips with it.
